Should I Have My Own Computer?
Students are not required to have a home PC or bring a laptop computer to Xavier but having your own computer will be a big plus. Information technology is a vital part of every profession, and it will be an essential part of your life experiences. If you don't own a personal computer, Xavier High School provides 24 public PCs and 10 wireless laptops available for student and faculty use in the Galluzzo Media Technology Center. In addition, Xavier High School has two supervised labs, which have over 60-networked Intel-based PCs.
Presently our Software Standards are: Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003 Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access application software).
