THE PURPOSE OF THE ADVANCEMENT OFFICE
The purpose of the Advancement Office is to secure financial resources and other support for the school and enhance alumni relations while advancing the mission of Xavier.
THE XAVIER ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to promote the community spirit and ideals of Xavier; to provide financial assistance as defined by the Alumni Executive Committee and the Headmaster. To accomplish its goals the Association runs or participates in a number of events throughout the year, including: The Alumni Golf Classic, the annual Auction, the Annual Fund Drive (AFD), class reunions, the alumni raffles and special Masses.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:
XAVIER'S ANNUAL FUND DRIVE
Xavier’s Annual Fund Drive (AFD) is the primary way in which our school raises revenues to be used for financial aid, endowed scholarships, and the enhancement of academic, athletic, spiritual, and extra curricular programs. Last fiscal year (July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009) we raised over $900,000 in financial aid and endowed scholarships. This assistance was directly attributed to the generosity of our Alumni, Present Parents, Parents of Alumni, Grandparents, and Friends of Xavier. However, our requests for assistance have been overwhelming during these challenging times. Your support is critical, now more than ever.
Please be reminded that no gift is ever too small. Your generosity, in any amount, is always welcomed, and your commitment is essential for the continued success of our school's mission to form a young man who is challenged academically, spiritually alive, physically sound and technologically aware.

JOIN A GIVING SOCIETY
All gifts to Xavier's Annual Fund Drive (July 1 - June 30) enroll the donor in one of our giving societies. All donors are publicly thanked in our Annual Report and a Mass is said each month in our chapel for the intentions of the benefactors:
- Xaverian Founders' Colleagues: $25,000 and above
- Xaverian Leadership Colleagues: $15,000 - $24,999
- Ryken Heritage Council: $ 10,000 - $14,999
- Headmaster's Council: $5,000 - $9,999
- Principal's Circle: $2,000 - $4,999
- Falcon Circle: $1,000 - $1,999
- Xavier Associate: $500 - $ 999
- St. Joseph Associate: $250 - $499
- Kestrel Sponsor: $100 - $249
- Black and White Sponsor: less than $100
Participants who give $1000 or more per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) are enrolled in the Saint Francis Xavier Society, Xavier's premier giving society. Members are highlighted on the Xavier High School website as well as in the Annual Report.

If you would like someone to be remembered in Xavier's school prayers, contact the Advancement Office at 860-347-6079. For a suggested $15 donation a card will be sent to the family in your name.
