Grade  9

• The student begins to build academic credentials through success in course work.  The seven credits received and the student’s grades in these courses determine the grade point average and class rank, and represent the academic credentials the student will submit to college admissions offices at the time of application.

•  In October, all Freshmen will take the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test), a forerunner to the SAT Test during later years.

• Students are encouraged to get involved in extracurricular activities.
