Middletown Sports Hall Of Fame Dinner Moved To Elks Club

The 27th annual Middletown Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner, which has a strong Xavier flavor, will now be held at the Elks Club at 44 Maynard St., Middletown.

The venue for the Jan. 23 event was moved because of the closure Friday of the Red Lion Hotel in Cromwell.

Tickets are $50 per person and $15 for children under 12. For ticket information, contact Johanna Bond at the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce (860-347-6924) or by email (johanna@middlesexchamber.com). Cocktail hour is at 5:30 p.m.; the dinner is at 7 p.m.
