⚽️ Esteban Montoya (Soccer)
The Falcons picked up two more wins last week against Daniel Hand and Branford. For those of you who were at the game on Tuesday you know what an exciting and physical game it was. The game was back and forth with both teams getting quality scoring chances. It was Esteban Montoya’s game-winning goal with just eight minutes left on the clock that was the difference maker. Not only did his goal silence the Daniel Hand student section, but most importantly, it lifted our boys to a huge 1–0 victory.
🏈 Jack Rubino (Football)
While we didn’t get the result we wanted on Friday night during the varsity game, our JV boys got revenge on Saturday morning with a 13 – 8 victory. One big reason for our victory was the great defense that we played. In particular, Jack Rubino was excellent on Saturday morning. He recorded 5 sacks and was instrumental in shutting down Cheshire’s offense in the win.
