Visiting Xavier

For nearly 60 years Xavier has built a strong, unrivaled academic program with proven outcomes. Each year Xavier sends students to college all over the country. Its 2020 valedictorian, Alex Pralea, is attending Brown; the 2020 salutatorian, Akshay Khunte, is headed for Yale.

The average scholarship money earned by our graduating classes in the past five years is about $7,000,000. Join a Xaverian community committed to excellence in academics, athletics and the arts. The hallmarks of a Xaverian Education continue to be academic excellence, character and leadership development, enduring personal relationships and care for the whole person: mind, body and spirit. If you would like to visit Xavier there are a variety of ways:

Virtual Tours or In-Person Tours: The Director of Admissions at Xavier is Mr. Nicholas Grasso '05. He can be reached at nmgrasso@xavierhighschool.org or by calling 860-346-7735, ext. 743.

Shadow Days: The Xavier Experience Day, also known as a Shadow Day, allows 7th and 8th graders to experience a day at Xavier. They will tour the school with a senior, meet students, faculty and staff, attend classes with a freshman and be our guest for a complimentary lunch. The days are from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Look for an announcement on the dates this school year.

Open House: The fall Open House showcases the school and its many possibilities. It is an opportunity to meet teachers, coaches, staff, ask questions, learn about the academic programs, the Fine Arts programs, the athletic programs, and the many clubs and activities.
