FROM THE OFFICE OF ALUMNI & DEVELOPMENT
Back in the 1980’s and 90’s, the Xavier Alumni Association was always one of the top rated Catholic High School organizations in the country regarding percentage of participation of donors to the Annual Fund Drive and Financial Aid Fund. From 1995 to 1997, Xavier was in the top 1% of all Catholic High Schools in the United States. Graduates of this fabulous High School were so proud of that accomplishment!
Our primary goal going forward is to significantly improve the current rate of participation and to try to get back to similar levels of giving that we experienced in the past. To do that, we know this Office needs to do a better job building and maintaining relations with our graduates and to better serve your needs. We pledge to do everything in our power to do that and to earn your support again, or for the first time, in the years ahead.
As starters, we are reinstating a system of Class Reps, rebuilding the Alumni Board of Directors, planning to help more with organizing Class Reunions, doing personalized outreach to alumni, and conducting at least quarterly alumni events. That’s a “full plate” for us right now, but we would love to hear from you if you have any specific ideas that you think will help us to achieve our goals.
Please feel free to contact any of us at the Alumni & Development Office by calling 860-346-7735, Ext. 743 or email [email protected] or [email protected].

XAVIER HIGH SCHOOL PRAYER - read at the close of school each day
Loving Father,
We ask you to protect the students, faculty and staff at Xavier High School.
Guide us to salvation by following the example of Jesus Christ, your Son.
Inspire us with your grace, to seek both academic success and spiritual wisdom as we use your gifts and talents in service to others.
Help us to find the strength and passion to be leaders and pioneers like Theodore James Ryken, the Xaverian Brothers and those who founded our school.
May we, in turn, accept the challenge to spread the Word of God and make the world a better place for all people.
We ask this, through Christ, our Lord. Amen
Saint Francis Xavier pray for us.
- Chris Danko ’11 and Francis Rowland ’11
