Dear Xavier Families,
As we close the book on another successful academic year at Xavier, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
Our students completed their final exams today, with makeups scheduled for tomorrow. This afternoon, our Student Activities Council provided the perfect sendoff with a special end-of-year picnic. It was a wonderful way for our community to come together, celebrate the year, and enjoy one another's company before heading into summer break.
I also want to take a moment to congratulate our Outdoor Track & Field team on capturing their third consecutive Class L state championship this past weekend. Their grit, determination, and commitment to excellence continue to be a source of pride for all of us.
To all of our students and families — thank you for another outstanding year. Your partnership, support, and shared belief in Xavier’s mission continue to shape the young men who walk our halls. Whether this was your first year with us or your last, you are part of something truly special.
I leave you with the words I shared with our community during this morning’s final announcements:
As we close out the last day of exams and the final moments of this school year, I wanted to take a minute — not as your President, but simply as a grateful member of this community — to say thank you.
To our incredible students: thank you for showing up, for working hard, and for bringing your energy, your curiosity, and your heart to Xavier every single day. Whether this was your first, second, or third year, you have left your mark on this place and helped shape what it means to be part of our Xavier family.
To our faculty and staff: thank you for your unwavering dedication, your passion for teaching and guiding, and for the countless hours you’ve poured into making this a place where students not only learn but grow into the people they are meant to become. Your impact cannot be overstated — it is seen in every success, every lesson, every quiet moment of encouragement.
This year has been long. We have had our challenges. But more than that — it has been a great year. It’s been a year filled with moments of growth, of laughter, of resilience, and of pride. What makes this community so special is not just the accomplishments, but the way we care for one another — how we lift each other up, stand by one another, and stay connected through it all.
We are so much more than a school — we are a tight-knit community. And I am endlessly proud and deeply grateful to be part of it with all of you.
So, as we close the books and look toward summer — rest, recharge, and take with you the knowledge that you are part of something truly special here.
Thank you for a fantastic year. I am proud of each and every one of you.
