Dear Xavier Families,

This week at Xavier has been filled with moments that highlight the spirit, talent, and faith that define our community.

On Monday evening, our Spring Concert was held at Mercy High School. Under the direction of Mr. Berlyn, our musicians delivered a wonderful performance that showcased not only their hard work and creativity but also the continued strength of Xavier’s music program. Whether it’s a beginner finding his rhythm or a senior preparing to pursue music in college, our program gives students the tools—and the stage—to shine.

Tuesday offered an unforgettable experience as a group of our students and several staff members joined me at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick for the Ordination Mass of The Most Reverend Richard F. Reidy, the newly appointed Sixth Bishop of Norwich. It was a beautiful day filled with reverence, tradition, and inspiration. We were honored to represent Xavier at such a significant moment in the life of the Church.

That same afternoon, Ms. Vitale hosted her final Spring Arts Show. The front foyer was transformed into a gallery, lined with student artwork that spoke volumes about their creativity and dedication. From paintings and sketches to the impressive work of Mr. Braychak’s photography students, the showcase was a fitting tribute to the role of the arts in a Xavier education.

On Thursday evening, we welcomed families to campus for our Academic Awards Night. The ceremony recognized the achievements of both current and incoming students whose hard work and dedication to excellence stood out across academic disciplines. It was a joy to see so many bright, motivated young men celebrated for their accomplishments and potential.

As always, thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are helping our students grow into the leaders, scholars, and men of character they are called to be.

Have a restful weekend and God bless.
