Xavier High School Parent Weekly Newsletter - May 23

 

Dear Xavier Families,

 

This evening, we gather for a moment that is both joyful and bittersweet: our Baccalaureate Mass. It is one final chance to come together with the Class of 2025 and their families to reflect, give thanks, and celebrate the journey we have shared.

Tomorrow morning, we will proudly send our seniors forth at Graduation. Their time at Xavier has come to a close, but the foundation they built here, grounded in faith, brotherhood, and purpose, will support them wherever they go. We cannot wait to see what they accomplish next. They are always Falcons and will always have a home here at Xavier.

This week, we also witnessed another powerful display of student leadership during our Student Activities Council elections. Congratulations to all who ran. Their campaign videos were thoughtful and creative, and it was a pleasure to see their flyers lining our hallways. Student voice and engagement are central to the Xavier experience, and that was on full display this week.

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, thank you for your continued support of our mission and our young men.

As we enjoy the long weekend with family and friends, let us also take time to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. We honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a reminder of the courage and commitment that define the very best of us.

 

- Orders for the 2025 Xavier Yearbook are now being taken. The link to our publisher can be found HERE. The cost of the yearbook is $75. SENIORS DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE A YEARBOOK. The cost is included in their graduation fees. 

 

- ATTENTION PARENTS OF SENIORS: Senior Tributes for the 2024-25 Yearbook are available HERE! The Deadline to submit a tribute is June 1, 2025.

 

 

- The one-page calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year is now available HERE. 

 

- Junior Parents – Orders for senior apparel must be submitted by June 6th. Contact Mrs. Braychak if you have any questions. 

 

- Help spread the word! Registration for Xavier’s summer camps is now open. This year’s camps are for students entering 3rd-9th grade. This summer we are offering camps in Football, Soccer, Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, E-Sports, Physical Fitness, Flag Football, Wrestling, and more. Spots are filling fast! - Make the most of your summer with Xavier’s Summer Academic Programs, designed to help you strengthen key skills, get ahead in challenging subjects, or fulfill course requirements. Whether you're looking to refine your math and writing abilities, prepare for AP coursework, or even knock out a graduation requirement, our summer offerings provide the perfect opportunity to stay on track. Plus, register by May 2 to take advantage of early-bird discounts! Register here! 

 

- Next year’s busing: Out-of-town busing: If you checked off busing on your tuition contract for next school year the Out-of-town busing paperwork has been posted to your onCampus account. If you have not checked off that you need busing but you do, please call or e-mail Mrs. Braychak.

- Middletown busing: Forms were mailed home to all Middletown residents. Bus registration forms are due to Mrs. Braychak by Friday, May 30. Call or email Mrs. Braychak with any questions.

 

- Important Reminder for Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2025! You should have recently received a letter from the Class of 2025 Senior Gift Committee. Each year, seniors and their families are asked to contribute to the Senior Gift Program. We need your help to see that the Class of 2025 can raise the funds and leave a lasting impact on Xavier students for years to come. Click HERE to donate online. Thank you for your support!
