Xavier High School Parent Weekly Newsletter - October 24

Dear Xavier Families,

What an incredible week it has been at Xavier! Together, we celebrated our annual Walk-A-Thon and raised a record breaking $197,262, a true testament to the strength and generosity of our community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every student, faculty and staff member, parent, alumni, prospective families and current families who helped make this possible. Our sense of togetherness, school spirit, and pride in Xavier have never been stronger.

Before our friends from Mercy joined us for the Walk-A-Thon, the day began with an energetic Fall Sports Pep Rally, celebrating the hard work and achievements of our fall teams. The event featured a spirited relay race, won by the seniors, and a wildly entertaining pie-eating contest that had everyone cheering. It was a joyful morning that perfectly captured the Xavier spirit.

We are also looking forward to Houli Day tomorrow, as our community comes together to help beautify the campus ahead of Sunday’s Open House. It is always inspiring to see students, faculty, and families working side-by-side to keep Xavier looking its best.

A friendly reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, and both the school and offices will be closed. Thank you again for your continued support and enthusiasm. Enjoy the long weekend, you have earned it!

I want to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:

"Simplicity frees the heart, the mind, and the soul for the work of evangelization and education. The Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School community encourages us to live and work in ways that respect our vocation to be stewards of God's creation."
