Catholic Schools Week To Celebrate Our Founders

Catholic Schools Week starts Sunday, and Xavier will celebrate it in part by honoring the founder of the Xaverian Brothers, Theodore James Ryken.

Xavier was about to celebrate Founders Week last fall went the school went from in-person learning to virtual learning. At present, Xavier is following a hybrid model.

Some of what we’ll be doing:

  • A dress down day to benefit Pope John Paul II School in Middletown.
  • The celebration of one of the five Xaverian values (humility, trust, zeal, compassion, simplicity) each day which involves honoring a student and faculty or staff member who exemplifies that value.
  • Hiding photos of St. Francis Xavier throughout the building (find one and get free French Fries from the dining hall).
  • Praying for different members of the Xavier community in our daily prayers.
