Xavier won its first SCC boys soccer tournament title in eight years Thursday night with a 1-0 victory over Cheshire in the second overtime.
The Falcons are seeded No. 1 in the state tournament and have a first-round bye on Tuesday. They will open Thursday at home at 2 p.m. vs. the Glastonbury-Enfield winner.
