Falcon Giving Day: Former Football Coach Larry McHugh

Xavier has a long heritage of developing powerful leaders throughout its students, faculty and staff. These people have made an impact in virtually every walk of life.

Larry McHugh, Xavier’s first football coach in 1963, created a legendary program at Xavier, and then took his leadership to the local community in 1983 as President of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce. Larry has shown that the Xavier way is a powerhouse of consistency, and team building for the betterment of the community.
