It All Adds Up To A Successful Math Season

If there is one Paul on the varsity math team, and one Paul on the junior varsity math team, what do you have?

Two brothers, two top performers, too much for the competition.

The Xavier varsity math team placed fourth among 10 teams that competed this year in six meets throughout Middlesex County from October through March. Soti Paul ‘23 not only was the high scorer on the varsity team but was the top junior in the league.

The junior varsity team was third among the 10 teams that competed in four meets in the fall semester. Petros Paul ‘25 was not only Xavier’s high scorer but also the top freshman in the JV league.

The varsity team is made up of primarily juniors and seniors, though at least one freshman or sophomore must be part of the official team at each meet. Jeremy Chen ‘23 was the third-place junior in the league.

The junior varsity team is made up of freshmen and sophomores only. Joshua Raj ’25 was the second-place freshman in the JV league.
