Longtime Administrative Assistant Donna Jaskot Retires

One by one, the speakers at Donna Jaskot's Retirement Party came up to the podium and shared their stories.

First her sons, Dan, Greg and Matt, all Xavier alumni. Then came the former Headmasters and current school leaders.

As each one stepped to the stage in the Xavier Dining Hall and recalled a funny tale or poignant moment, it became so clear what the longtime Administrative Assistant represented at Xavier.

For 36 years, Jaskot was the glue that kept us all together - faculty, staff, students, parents, alums.

She represented us all, and she wanted the best for everyone.

Over a five decade career that spanned multiple Headmasters, Principals and Administrators, Jaskot epitomized what we want this community to be. Whatever she faced, Donna provided our school and our community with the type of stability and support that is rare.

She was genuine and she never stopped caring. She was compassionate and dedicated. And because of it, she made us all better.

From everyone at Xavier.

Thank you, Donna.

We owe you more than you will ever know. Please enjoy your retirement. You've not only earned it. You deserve it. And you will be missed by all of us.
