Xavier Celebrates 60 Years of Fostering Excellence in Scholarship, Leadership and Service

60 Years Strong!

As we celebrate 60 years of Xavier High School, we reflect on the rich history and tradition that has made our school a special place for generations of students, faculty, and staff. On September 7, 1963, the dedication of the school took place, marking the beginning of a legacy that has lasted six decades.

One of the hallmarks of Xavier High School is the tradition of service that has been instilled in our faculty, staff, and students. From the early days of the school, service has been a core value that has guided us in our mission to educate young men who are committed to making a positive impact on the world.

Whether it is through community service projects, volunteer work, or acts of kindness and compassion, Xavier students have always been encouraged to give back to their communities and help those in need. This tradition of service is a testament to the Xaverian values of simplicity, zeal, humility, trust, and compassion that are present at the school today.

Simplicity is a value that is often overlooked in our modern world, but it is one that has been embraced at Xavier since its inception. We strive to live simply and to focus on the things that truly matter in life, such as our relationships with others, our faith, and our commitment to service.

Zeal is another value that is central to the Xavier experience. We are passionate about our work and our mission, and we bring that same energy and enthusiasm to everything we do. Whether it is in the classroom, on the playing field, or in our community, we approach each task with the same level of dedication and commitment.

Humility is a value that is often associated with weakness or lack of confidence, but at Xavier, we understand that humility is a strength. By acknowledging our own limitations and weaknesses, we are better able to work together as a community and to support one another in our shared mission.

Trust is a value that is essential to any community, and it is something that we take very seriously at Xavier. We trust in one another, in our teachers and staff, and in our shared commitment to service and excellence.

Compassion is perhaps the most important value of all, and it is one that has been at the heart of Xavier since its founding. We believe in treating others with kindness and respect, and we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.

As we look back on 60 years of Xavier High School, we are filled with gratitude for the many faculty, staff, and students who have helped to shape our school and our community. We are proud of our tradition of scholarship, leadership and service, and we remain committed to living out the Xaverian values that have guided us for six decades.

As we move forward into the future, we know that there will be challenges and obstacles to overcome, but we are confident that we will continue to thrive as a community of learners, leaders, and servants.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the Xavier High School family over the past 60 years, and here's too many more years of service, excellence, and compassion!
