Jones, Moore, Gonzalez & Jarvis Named Athletes of the Week!

We're back from Winter Break and so are our Athletes of the Week!

With two weeks of competition over break, we have FOUR Athletes of the Week!

For Week 1 of the winter season, our first two athletes come from the basketball team.

🏀 Noah Jones (Basketball)

The team started the season off with four straight wins. One of those wins was a 67–45 win over Guilford, In that game, Noah finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds to help lead the team to a 3–0 start. He also played at a high level on both ends of the floor during the Art Kohs Christmas Tournament, earning All-Tournament Team honors. Through the first six games of the season, Noah is currently averaging a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds per game. Congratulations, Noah!

🏀 Mello Moore (Basketball)

Mello is averaging 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game through the first six games of the season. It was his performance in the Kohs Tournament that earned him Athlete of the Week recognition. He scored 26 points against Waterford in the first round of the Art Kohs Christmas Tournament and followed that up with 20 points in the championship game against Maloney, earning All-Tournament Team honors. Conratulations, Mello!

🤼 Braylon Gonzalez (Wrestling)

Our wrestling team spent most of Christmas Break traveling the country and competing in the toughest tournaments they could find. Our athlete of the week had an incredible stretch of competition, winning the Bethlehem Catholic Tournament in Pennsylvania and going undefeated at 6–0 at the Clash in Wisconsin. Congratulations to Braylon Gonzalez!

🏒 Tyson Jarvis (Hockey)

Our final athlete comes from the hockey team who is currently 4 – 4 on the season. On Saturday January 3, the team picked up their third win of the season 4-1 over Northwest Catholic. Leading the way in that victory with two goals was Tyson Jarvis! Congratulations to Tyson!
