The Xavier High School Golf Team shot a league-record low score of 288 to win the 2026 Southern Connecticut Conference Championship on Tuesday! The Falcons defeated second-place Lyman Hall by eight shots.
Senior Jack Dennis shot a one-under par 71 to share low medalist honors with Guilford's Bobby Shaw.
Seniors Ryan Glen and Matteo Barbaro both carded even par rounds of 72 to finish in a tie for third. Junior Juan Herrera finished the day at +1 thanks to shooting a 73 and Bennett Cedillo fired a 76.
Thanks to their finishes, Jack Dennis, Ryan Glen, and Matteo Barbaro all earned All-SCC honors.
This marks Xavier's seventh SCC title and their second in the last three years.
