The 2024-2025 Annual Fund Drive Breaks the Million Mark!
We are pleased to report that the 2024-2025 fiscal year was a very successful one for the Xavier Alumni & Development Office.
Proceeds to the Annual Fund Drive were $628,248 in unrestricted donations and $400,600 to financial aid, for a total of $1,028,848. With restricted contributions to programs and to endowed scholarship funds, the Office received another $474,949. The grand total for the year was $1,503,789.
We are extremely grateful to the many alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends of Xavier High School for their financial support. The 2024-2025 Annual Donor Report will be published soon to recognize everyone who played a role in raising these funds last fiscal year.
We are also pleased to report that we hit 13% participation rate for alumni giving, up from 8% the previous year. Shooting for 20% in 2025-2026! Will need a lot of help from the classes of 2000 to 2023 to get there!!
Your Alumni & Development Team,
Rich Feitel Suzanne Berry Greg Jaskot '00 TJ Kronenberger '04

2025 Xavier Alumni Golf Classic - Sponsor or Donate Today!
For 41 years, the Alumni & Development Office has been conducting the Xavier Alumni Golf Classic. Last year we raised more than $200,000 in net proceeds, all of which went to provide financial aid to needy and qualified Xavier families who otherwise would not be able to afford a Xavier education for their sons. During the last 7 years alone, this popular event has generated nearly $1 million for tuition assistance!
Besides our usual sponsorships, we annually select a former faculty member to honor and a faculty member and/or alum to memorialize. Pat Ingellis, former teacher, coach and Guidance Director at XHS for more than 30 years, is our honoree. The Classic is also being conducted in memory of former faculty member Br. Thomas Ryan, C.F.X., and alum John Pulaski '70, both of whom passed during the last school year.
If you would like to secure a sponsorship for your business, in memory or honor of a loved one, or for any of the men listed above, just click on the link below and it will take you to the form on the XHS website. Please check the form for recognition received by securing any of the sponsorships. Sponsorships/donations must be received by Monday, August 18, to have adequate time to provide proper recognition.
Every sponsorship you secure or contribution you make will help to benefit a young man who otherwise would not be able to attend this outstanding high school!

Register Online for the Grand Reunion/Class Reunions
Plans have been finalized for all the class reunions being celebrated this year.
The Class of 1970 will celebrate their reunion on Saturday, September 27 at Xavier High School. Detailed information on this event was mailed to members of this class during the last week of June. The Reunion Committee (Gary Giannelli, Larry Marino, Mike Early, Paul Tarbetsky, Len Fredericks, and Buddy McDowell) have planned a wonderful evening for classmates to reunite, reminisce about the glory years, and catch up on lives and careers since graduation from XHS. Special thanks also to John Lomartra '73 who volunteered to provide piano entertainment that night and perhaps some sing-along music for Len, Buddy, Lex, and other classmates involved in the musical productions at Xavier. REGISTER HERE!
The Class of 1975 will celebrate their reunion over two days on October 10 and 11. The first night will be part of the Grand Reunion at Xavier High School with other Classes ending in 0 and 5. A section of Lino's Cafe (formerly known as the Xavier cafeteria) will be reserved for this class. The second night will also be hosted at Xavier for the Class of 1975 only. Classmates have the option of attending one or both events. A detailed schedule for both nights was mailed to members of the class during the first week of July. Special thanks to members of the 50th Reunion Committee (Larry Cacciola, Dave Chapman, Butch Lastrina, Joe Marchese, Tom Sweeney, Guy Tommasi, and Tommy Wrinn) who have worked on plans for the event for nearly a year to assure that it will be a special weekend for all who attend! REGISTER HERE!
The Classes of 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020 will celebrate their reunions as part of the Grand Reunion on October 10 at Xavier High School. Each class will have a reserved section in Lino's Cafe. A mailing went out to all the graduates of these classes for whom we have addresses with detailed event information. Nearly 60 Xavier grads representing many classes from 1967 to 2022 attended the Summer Alumni Social at The Woodwinds in Branford. Special thanks to Tony Suppa '96 and his staff for the fabulous job they did in that night - food and service was incredible! Re-Forming Alumni Class Representative System A Priority
Due to limited personnel and time in the Alumni & Development Office, we can't possibly do the amount of outreach to alums to get and keep them engaged with Xavier High School. We need help from graduates who are committed to Xavier to expand communications with alums, especially with members of the Classes of 2000 to 2023.
We will be sending out a separate email this week to encourage alums to serve as Class Reps. Responsibilities include:
- Promoting alumni events.
- Encouraging class participation in the Annual Fund Drive.
- Serving on at least one alumni event committee (at least 6 to choose from) per school year.
We will conduct an Alumni Social at Xavier High School on September 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. when we will share more details on becoming a Class Rep. If you would like to serve in this capacity or would like to learn more about becoming a rep, please attend that evening. Can also set up a Zoom meeting for those of you who are interested but not local. We would love to get at least 2 members of every graduating class to serve in this capacity. Appetizers and beverages will be provided that evening.
Please feel free to contact Rich Feitel or TJ Kronenberger '04 at 860-346-7735 with any questions.
