XAVIER ALUMNI GOLF CLASSIC - September 9, 2022 Jaskot & Raffele Sponsorships
The 2022 Alumni Golf Classic at Portland Golf Course is sold out to players, but sponsorships to support student financial aid are still an option for anyone who is able to help young men benefit from the Xavier experience. Consider a special honorary sponsorship in the name of retired Coach Tony Jaskot ’69, and / or a memorial sponsorship for Alumni Golf Classic committee member, Ron Raffele ‘70, who died in November of 2021. Both of these men are beloved members of the Xavier community. The Alumni Golf Classic has become the largest single donor to Xavier High School. With your help, it can become even more impactful. Let’s make the transformational Xavier experience an option for even more students in 2022. Contact Greg Jaskot at [email protected] or 860-346-7735, ex-733. All sponsors will be featured on the course and in published materials.

$10,000 Gift for the Eleanor Fontanella Scholarship Fund
John and Patricia DelFavero, of California, donate annually in memory of John’s older sister Eleanor. “Our mother died when I was a baby. It was Eleanor who raised me.” Xavier is grateful to the DelFavero Family for making Xavier students a part of their annual philanthropic giving. Tuition support is more important every year.
Donors wishing to help students receive the Xavier experience can do so in big and small ways. Because it all adds up to helping young men learn to excel in spirt, academics and physical growth.
Did you know that IRA Rollovers and RMD’s can be used “tax free” to support Xavier students? Call the advancement team at 860-347-7735 to ask how.

THE XAVIER HIGH SCHOOL PRAYER - is read at the opening and close of each school day.
Loving Father,
We ask you to protect the students, faculty and staff at Xavier High School.
Guide us to salvation by following the example of Jesus Christ, your Son.
Inspire us with your grace, to seek both academic success and spiritual wisdom as we use your gifts and talents in service to others.
Help us to find the strength and passion to be leaders and pioneers like Theodore James Ryken, the Xaverian Brothers and those who founded our school.
May we, in turn, accept the challenge to spread the Word of God and make the world a better place for all people.
We ask this, through Christ, our Lord. Amen
Saint Francis Xavier pray for us.
- Chris Danko ’11 and Francis Rowland ‘11
