Xavier High School Parent Weekly Newsletter - May 9

Dear Xavier Families,

This week offered a beautiful reminder of what makes Xavier special. On Tuesday, our sophomores and juniors took part in Field Day at Holiday Hill, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Events like this extend the Xavier experience beyond our campus and classrooms. The brotherhood our young men build here goes far beyond academics. It is about forming bonds that last a lifetime.

We also celebrated Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week, a chance to thank the dedicated individuals who make Xavier what it is. From teaching and mentoring to guiding and supporting, our faculty and staff pour themselves into the lives of our students each and every day. Their commitment is the heartbeat of our school community, and we are deeply grateful for their service.

As we look ahead to the weekend, we wish all Xavier mothers a very Happy Mother's Day. Your strength, love, and quiet sacrifices do not go unnoticed. You are often the steady hand and the warm heart behind each young man who walks through our doors, and we are grateful for the countless ways you support your sons and this school.

For our seniors, the journey toward graduation continues. They marked their last official day of classes on Thursday with joy and a sense of celebration fitting of their accomplishments. Senior exams began today, and earlier this week, the Class of 2025 proudly wore their college shirts, a colorful display of where they are headed next. From coast to coast, our seniors wore their future with pride. They are ready to soar.

AP Exams began Monday and continue next week. We are proud of the effort and focus our students are putting in during this busy season. Outside the classroom, our students continue to celebrate with one another. Last weekend, the Freshman and Sophomore Semi Formal was a great success, and tomorrow, our juniors will gather for their prom, a milestone moment in any high school journey.

Finally, we are happy to share that the one-page calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year is now available HERE. We encourage you to review it and begin planning ahead.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we move through these final weeks of the school year.

Have a restful weekend and God bless.
